Profile sections
If your organization enables personal document branding, use Account Settings > Branding instead. See Personal document branding.
Update your profile identity

Open Account Settings
Use the user menu in the sidebar and choose Account Settings.

Choose Profile
Open the Profile tab.

Update avatar
Click Upload and choose an image. Supported formats are JPEG, PNG, and GIF. The maximum size shown in the app is 5 MB.

Confirm name and email
Update Name and Email Address if your organization allows changes.

Save
Click Save for the section you changed.
If your organization manages identity through single sign-on, some identity fields may be controlled outside Sofie.
Set personal information
Use Personal Information to tell Sofie how to address you and what role context to assume. Good examples:
Avoid vague values such as
manager, operations, or user when you can be more specific.
Choose interested tasks
Use Interested Tasks to mark the work types you expect to use often. Available task interests may include:- Tech Transfer.
- Risk Assessment.
- Report Drafting.
- SOP Alignment.
- Document Generation.
- Regulatory Insights.
- Change Control.
- Protocol Authoring.
- Process Mapping.
- Ideation.
- Proposal Development.
- Summarize Documents.
How profile context differs from Memory
Profile fields describe who you are. Memory and Directive settings describe durable preferences and rules. Use profile fields for:- Your name.
- Your role.
- Your department.
- Your task interests.
- How you want outputs formatted.
- Recurring source-review rules.
- Preferred terminology.
- Standing instructions for document drafting.
- Repeated review patterns.
Change password
If password sign-in is enabled, the Change Password section may show:- Current Password.
- New Password.
- Confirm New Password.
After profile changes
After you update profile information:- Start a new chat for work that should use the new context.
- Update related Memory or Directive settings if your preferences changed.
- Confirm account details before sending or preparing external communications.
