Sofie can ask for confirmation before it continues. This helps you control actions that create, edit, send, save, delete, or publish work.

When Sofie may ask you

Sofie may pause for input when:
  • Required information is missing.
  • Several sources or artifacts match your request.
  • A plan is ready to execute.
  • A CoDraft, CoSheet, Workspace, or Orchestration will be created.
  • A file import needs confirmation.
  • A connected app action will create, update, send, or delete something.
  • An Orchestration reaches a human review step.
  • The next step depends on SME or reviewer judgment.

Common confirmation types

Do not approve actions by skimming. Approval often allows Sofie to continue with the full action or workflow.

Ask Sofie to pause

You can set review points in your prompt. Examples: 
Ask me before creating the CoDraft.

Ask me before saving anything to the Workspace.

Ask me before sending, updating, or deleting anything in a connected app.

Pause before writing any conclusion or recommendation.

Show me the formula before applying it to the CoSheet.

Review a plan before execution

When Plan Mode creates a plan, check:
  • The plan uses the right sources.
  • Search happens before drafting.
  • Missing evidence is handled explicitly.
  • Artifact creation happens after review.
  • Human review appears before conclusions or shared saves.
  • The output format is specific enough.
Then click Execute Plan or ask Sofie to revise the plan.

Review artifact actions

Before creating or saving artifacts, confirm:
  • Artifact type.
  • Title.
  • Workspace.
  • Folder or destination.
  • Source set.
  • Whether comments, suggestions, or direct edits are expected.
  • Whether the artifact contains draft language.
Good prompt: 
Before creating the CoDraft, show me the title, Workspace destination, section outline, source set, and assumptions.

Review connected app actions

Connected app actions can affect systems outside Sofie. Depending on what is enabled, Sofie may help with email, calendar, files, tasks, or CRM records. Before approving, check:
  • Recipient, attendee, or record name.
  • Date, time, and timezone.
  • Field values.
  • Body text or update text.
  • Attachments or linked artifacts.
  • Whether the action should happen now.
If you do not see a connected app capability, it may not be enabled for your organization, connected to your account, or allowed by your permissions.

Use human review in Orchestrations

An Orchestration may pause for human review before continuing. Review:
  • The current task output.
  • Source support.
  • Assumptions.
  • Missing inputs.
  • Whether the workflow should continue, revise, or stop.
Example response: 
Revise the evidence table before continuing. Add a row for missing batch record attachments and do not draft the conclusion yet.

Stop or redirect Sofie

If Sofie is going in the wrong direction:
  • Click stop while Sofie is generating.
  • Remove incorrect context chips.
  • Add the correct source.
  • Say what to change.
  • Ask Sofie to revise the plan or output.
Examples: 
Stop. Use only the Workspace files, not Web search.

Do not save this. Show the draft in chat first.

Use comments instead of direct edits.

Review checklist

Before relying on a Sofie result, ask:
  • Which sources did Sofie use?
  • Which claims are unsupported?
  • What assumptions are present?
  • What decisions need a human?
  • What output will be saved, sent, or shared?
  • Who can access the destination?
  • What should be verified outside Sofie?
