Use comments and suggestions when a CoDraft needs review before text becomes final.

Comments versus suggestions

UseWhen
CommentsYou need a question, note, review issue, or SME decision.
SuggestionsYou want proposed text changes that can be accepted or rejected.
Direct editsYou are confident the change should be applied now.
Ask Sofie for the right review style.
Add comments where source support is missing. Do not rewrite the text yet.
Propose tracked changes for this section. Keep the original visible for review.

Ask Sofie to add comments

Comments are useful for review questions. Good prompts:
Add comments where the draft makes unsupported claims, lacks source references, or needs SME confirmation.
Review this section and comment on unclear acceptance criteria, missing rationale, and places where causal language is too strong.
Add comments for the document owner. Do not change the text directly.

Ask Sofie to propose suggestions

Suggestions are useful for wording changes. Good prompts:
Propose tracked changes to make this section neutral and source-backed. Do not remove open questions.
Suggest revisions that separate observations from conclusions.
Propose a clearer table heading and column labels for this evidence table.

Review with filters

Use the review pane filters to focus:
  • All for a complete review.
  • Comments for questions and discussion.
  • Changes for suggested edits.
Work through comments before accepting final wording. Comments often identify source gaps that suggestions cannot resolve.

Use Sofie for a review pass

Ask for a structured review before export.
Review this CoDraft. Return and add comments for unsupported statements, missing source references, inconsistent terminology, unresolved placeholders, unclear acceptance criteria, and sections needing SME confirmation.
For tracked changes:
Propose tracked changes for tone and clarity only. Do not change technical meaning, acceptance criteria, source references, or conclusions.

Resolve review items

Before export:
  • Switch to All Markup.
  • Review open comments.
  • Review every suggestion.
  • Save a revision.
  • Ask Sofie to list unresolved review items.
  • Confirm the exported version is the intended version.
Prompt:
List all remaining comments, unresolved suggestions, placeholders, and source gaps that should be addressed before export.
