Sofie chat can answer directly, gather context, create artifacts, edit artifacts, run workflows, generate files, and prepare external actions when those capabilities are available to your account.
You do not need to know an internal tool name. Tell Sofie the outcome you want, name the source material, and say how you want the result reviewed or saved.
Available actions depend on your organization, enabled features, connected apps, selected context, and your permissions. If an option is missing, ask your Sofie administrator whether it is enabled for your account.

Use search actions when the answer should be grounded in evidence instead of only the current chat.

Connected app actions
When connected apps are enabled, Sofie may help with sources and actions outside Sofie.
Examples include:
- Finding files in a connected drive.
- Reading email or calendar context.

- Updating a CRM or task record.
- Importing useful files into a Workspace.
Review connected app actions before they run. Check recipients, dates, record names, field values, attachments, and whether the action should happen now.
Find the related Salesforce account record and summarize open quality follow-ups. Do not update any record unless I approve the exact fields first.
Review and handoff actions
Sofie may pause when it needs your judgment or when the next step affects shared work.
Common pause points:
- A plan is ready to execute.
- A source choice is ambiguous.
- A CoDraft, CoSheet, Workspace, Template, Sequence, or Orchestration will be created.
- A result will be saved to a shared Workspace.
- A connected app action may create, update, send, or delete something.
- An Orchestration or Sequence needs human review.
